June 2nd, 2009, Shelton, CT - Driver Howard Payne, along with the Overtime Race Team, will return to the #16, but not where you think.  Driver Howard Payne will try to qualify for the American Canadian Tour race at Waterford Speedbowl, Saturday, June 13th, 2009 in the New England ATV sponsored ACT Car, owned by Scott Gregory.  As the #0, Payne is known for racing this season in the New England ATV Truck Series was already taken, it was agreed that Payne will return to the #16 that Overtime Racing was known for in its run with the AllStar Race Truck Series.

As Director of New England ATV Motocross, Payne is looking to venture out into other racing divisions.  Long time supporter of Racing Against Cancer, Payne looked to Director of Operations, Scott Gregory, for a chance in a different division.  "We have worked with Howard before, and through his New England ATV Series, he has been a great supporter of Racing Against Cancer," Gregory said.  It is agreed that all winnings received while Payne is in the New England ATV sponsored car will be donated directly to Racing Against Cancer.  Overtime Racing Sponsor, Big Boys Toys, LLC will also be on board of the #16 ACT car for the June 13th feature event.  "The boys at Overtime Racing have been a great team to work with so far this year. I am excited to take them with me in future endeavors and different divisions.  I think that teaming up with Racing Against Cancer is going to be great for all of us," said Payne.

Overtime Racing will prepare for the ACT race by running the Late Model feature event on Saturday, June 6th at Waterford Speedbowl.  "It has been a while since Seth [Duval, truck owner] or I have run a late model, but we are looking forward to going over our old notes, and making another fast race car for Howard," says crew chief Doug Leonard.  Be sure to come out and see Howard Payne and the Overtime Racing team in the New England ATV Truck, this Wednesday, June 3rd at Waterford Speedbowl, and then again Saturday, June 6th in the Late Model.  Don't forget the American Canadian Tour 100 Lap Main Event on Saturday, June 13th!
